All the computers are receiving an input from the sound board. Between the separate outputs and Amelia constantly playing with the board, keeping an eye on things is mentally taxing.
I do feel good rigging an attachment for the mic boom. The Ikea desk was too thick for the clamp. I screwed in a piece of wood for the boom to attach to. While a crappy attachment, it feels good how quickly I did it.

I purchased some audio equipment for the podcast. A Yamaha MG12 will allow me to have better control of the mix. My voice, the game and the chat will be on separate channels. I will probably mix in some sound effects soon, but need to figure a good app for the effects.
I tried running the podcast from a single machine, wasn’t able to get it to work consistently. Voicemeeter is great but not stable on my machine.
Managing a video stream through one machine is a little tough. I run all my games in full screen so it’s hard to tell what is going on with the streaming app.

The Halloween Edition!!! There are some Halloween mods for CSGO that we investigate in this episode, the Official TehClan Server is running strong. We also had a little fun with the BOT names, if you listen to The Sports Junkies and/or BOAD you’ll recognize some names. Not enough people to roll separate teams and we had some computer issues at the start but fun was had, many Griffians were used… Mostly just run and gun tonite but it’s always a good time for aim practice.

I bought a safe razor. Tomorrow will be the first day. I gotta admit, I am a little scared.
So we switched from beans to K-cupSo we switched from beans to K-cup
And I feel conflicted. The beans feels like a smaller environment impact than K-cups. Whole beans in a giant container. Coffee filters. Those are the only two consumables of note. The K-cups come in a box, actually several boxes since it was a mix. 7 boxes for 6 flavors. The cups themselves are a plastic shells with a coffee filter capped with foil. The material and processing seems magnitudes larger than beans and a filter.
Buuutttt, it is so much more convenient. I guess mother nature will have to pay the price for my convenience.

Finally, four members of TehClan get together, it’s been a tough couple of weeks lately. TehFroman was remote in a hotel in Hotlanta so unfortunately we weren’t running on our own server (it needed an update so it was unavailable) but we made it work. After laying waste to some bots we split up into two teams to make it more interesting. Team TehFroman/2.slo pulled it out due to superior tactics and clearly superior good looks. Unfortunely for Teh Bee-Team they fell a little short. It was a quick nite but it was a lot of fun. Hopefully we’ll get back to our normal server. Hopefully in the future we’ll also up our streaming game as well, perhaps even two streams at once!!

Only 3 this week but we tried some CSGO maps we don’t normally play, some were interesting but others were too small for our tastes. The normal strategies don’t really apply here since we have no idea where we’re going but it was all good. Than we fired up some Borderland Prequel just for fun, the inventory systems leave a bit to be desired but the gameplay mechanics are definitely fun. The chaos takes a little while to get used to but definitely fun to run and gun again.
Tired of the typical gaming Podcast where flamboyant ‘gamers’ talk nonstop, spewing memes and screaming into the mics like little kids? No…us neither, how about a bunch of old guys drinking, making fun of each other…and gaming, in that order? TehClen is a group of friends spread across the east coast looking to relax and enjoy some gaming on a Thursday evening.
