But everyone does it. I assume it’s easier to just pull up on the side the fill is on, but that seems too simple. If you are one of the many, I hope the hose brakes and you catch on fire…OK, maybe not that severe.

Man, this cold wave has been killing me. I finally realized how bad it was, is when I had to change the battery in the truck. The oil needs to be changed and I don’t feel like doing it. I don’t trust those guys at Jiffy boob.

It’s funny because I am going to say the same thing in the summer. It’s too hot. Maybe Hawaii is the place to be 🙂 Fall is still my number one seed for seasons. Football, the smell of BBQ in the sharp crisp air…so good.

Finally worked up the courage to sign up for a pistol competition. Found an email from http://silvereaglegroup.com/ The challenge is for a team of 4 to compete in a single elimination. Sine I don’t have any friends, I signed up just myself but would just go 4 times. The entry cost is $80. When I arrived I found out how the course is laid out. It was a pretty good challenge. This is the layout:

Having been a single competitor, we ran the course late in the match.  I was really happy with my times, but my accuracy wasn’t on point.

In my group of three I cam in last. The one thing the instructors didn’t go over was the scoring on the regular targets. Head shots were -2 seconds, so these 2 gubers were aiming for all the heads. The 2nd place was ~70 seconds and the 1st place was ~28 seconds. One rounds and done. Unfortunately the drive is 1.5 hours there and 1 back using the toll road. This added another $14 to the total cost plus 2 gallons of gas. As fun as the event was, the juice was not worth the squeeze.
